The Role:
Our client is a large global commodities merchant whose activities include physical and financial commodities trading and infrastructure acquisition and development. The company is looking to explore opportunities outside of pure commodity instruments to express ideas that have foundation in their core commodity analysis. They are currently looking for a senior analyst/portfolio manager to come on board and build a portfolio across the cap structure focused on the commodity and energy markets. This role will make investments across Soft and Agricultural commodities, Basic Industrials, European Gas and Power, Transportation, US Oil & Gas, and Metals & Mining and others. The individual should have experience generating long and short ideas within equity and credit markets. They should have a global understanding of commodity securities, and experience/discretion with portfolio / risk management.
Base Salary Range: $200,000 – $300,000
